Simple Linguini

What's right: This recipe.

What's wrong: The 113th congress.

What's left: A simple linguini method, not recipe.

All ingredients, listed or not listed, are approximate:
1/4 cup Panko
2 tablespoons very good olive oil
6 garlic cloves, minced
Two anchovies, made into a paste
16 ounces cooked linguine
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Prepare

Heat 1 1/2 tablespoons oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add garlic; cook 30 seconds, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat, stir in fresh anchovy paste and let stand 5 minutes. Return pan to low heat. Stir in breadcrumbs and toss frequently until lightly browned, about 6 minutes.

Add pasta to pan and toss gently. Add parsley, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Toss again to combine.

Drizzle 1 1/2 teaspoons oil over linguine and serve immediately.
